Oh Saint-Émilion, known for the best wine area on earth. You can buy bottles from 9 to 12,000 Euro. There's a photograph in the album for those that don't believe me ;) There is a plethora of wine shops, other tourist cafes and restaurants, among beautiful cobblestone paths and ruins. I missed a photograph of the lady taking her shoes off, but the particular cobblestone path was so worn down, most people opted for another route, but hand rails were available for the risk takers!
We ate lunch in the courtyard below. There were multiple restaurants that serviced the area. It was a gorgeous area to sit and enjoy the afternoon. I can't imagine what it will be like for the peak tourist season!
