Zadar

Zadar

Originally, I was going to visit Split after Pula. But, my host in Rovinj told me about Zadar. The unique experience of the Sea Organ was enough to add it to my itinerary. You are probably wondering "what is that?!". It's an experimental architectural object that was built into the side of the walking path steps. As the water moves through it, music is created. Quite incredible to relax as the sunsets, and hear music riveting through the ground below your body. The calm and soothing tunes enhances the "most beautiful sunset on earth". Additionally, there is a solar powered light circle called the "Sun Salutation". As the sun descends for the day, people emerge, waiting for the lights to start glowing. Crowds. Too many people for my taste.
