PRAGUE

When I flew to Ireland, I decided that I would work my way East, eventually ending up in India for the southern region. Being back in Europe, I decided visit Greece since I didn't have time last summer with Schengen limitations. On the way, I wanted to spend more time in Albania before moving south. So, to get to that area, I figured I would knock off a few more eastern European cities on my list. Prague was my first stop.

I heard it was a beautiful city, but it blew me away. The architecture and colors were breathtaking. Around every corner, there was more unique characteristics, cute statues above the doorways to distinguish the building, and ornate fixtures.

I stayed with a local named Iveta, she took me to a secret castle wall area. After reaching the top of the steps, there was a beautiful church. It's door captivated me with the color and different aging of the bricks.

We walked the length of the wall, admiring the city below with the best vantage!

I felt like I spent a lot of my time riding the trams, you really don't need to buy tickets, but it behoves you to stay honest. They are everywhere, and I love being able to see the city, instead of being underground on a metro.
